Mt Suswa Hike — Half-Crater Circuit
Overview
Mt. Suswa is an underrated gem on the Rift Valley floor. This double-crater shield-volcano offers an unmatched hiking experience with breathtaking views. The hike aims to conquer the massive crater halfway, starting at the road head on the edge of the inner crater, providing stunning vistas across the 5km-wide expanse. The trail leads to the summit, reaching an elevation of 2,356m above sea level. After conquering the summit, participants return to the road head for transfer back to Nairobi, completing a challenging yet rewarding adventure.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Meet at International House Parking, City Hall Way. Depart for Mt. Suswa. Arrive at the crater road head, begin the hike around the crater to the summit (2,356m). After conquering the summit, return to the road head and depart for Nairobi.
